ECHO Hockey Club is an exciting sporting organisation that was founded to provide players with the opportunity to play in a competitive and encouraging environment that upholds Christian values, strives for excellence, and focuses on good sportsmanship.

We regularly focus on recruitment to ensure that as a club we are continually growing and striving to be the best we can be. We welcome new players and support staff of all standards and capabilities.

We are currently actively recruiting for:

• Younger players looking for a challenge beyond school or junior hockey
• VicLeague or Premier League players looking for a new challenge in a club that puts a premium on mentoring younger players
• Pennant and Reserve level players who want to join an encouraging, fun and supportive team environment.

At ECHO, in keeping with our family club tradition, we actively welcome beginners who want to take on the challenge of playing the inclusive game of hockey. These players might be:

• People who just enjoy playing sport and want to play a competitive team sport
• Currently playing a sport and want to switch to hockey
• Haven’t played hockey since school and want to take it up again
• Looking for ways to keep fit in a great social and competitive environment.

We also have an active Junior Unit, which is not only the lifeblood of the Club, but we see sport as an important vehicle that supports and encourage young players to grow and mature – both on and off the pitch. We currently cater for juniors from 5-14 years olds, and we have a senior development squad for both Men’s and Women’s to supports 15+ year old players transition into Senior hockey.
